This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs the collection and use of User identification information by Alboom (or any subsidiaries or partners). This Privacy Policy applies to any user (“User”), whether an individual or legal entity, who (i) accesses the Alboom Platform and/or (ii) uses Alboom Services, even if registration is not required for such access and/or use. By using the Alboom Platform, including Alboom Services (or third-party services provided by Alboom), such as any apps, content, scripts, instruction sets, apps, and any related documentation offered by Alboom (or any subsidiaries or third parties), the User authorizes Alboom to collect and use their identification information under this Privacy Policy and to transfer their personal information across national borders to other countries where Alboom and its partners operate. Alboom will only transfer personal information to or within countries where the law permits it. This Privacy Policy also applies to Alboom’s marketing and advertising practices (or any subsidiaries or partners, except where they have their own privacy policies).
Registration and Customer Support Information.
Alboom collects identifying information from Users who (i) access the Alboom Platform (or any website related to or hosted on the Alboom Platform); (ii) register to use Alboom Services; (iii) contact Alboom for support or other offers; (iv) are referred, invited, or receive access links from another User; (v) search or post public profile information, advertisements for buying and selling, in locations made available by Alboom or Alboom’s partners. The information collected may include any identifying information such as name, usernames, gender, profession, date of birth, workplace, identification document numbers, physical and/or email addresses, phone number, IP address, geolocation information, payment/billing details, eligibility for certain advertising campaigns, screenshots, types of apps and sites of interest, content of customer support communications, devices and/or browsers used to access the Alboom Platform, and other information relevant and useful for enhancing the User’s experience on the Alboom Platform. In special cases, in response to a job offer, Alboom may collect identification and professional experience information through specific forms or via resumes or CVs. To help keep databases updated and to provide more relevant content and experiences, Alboom may combine information provided by the User with information from other sources, as permitted by applicable law.
Use of the Alboom Platform.
Alboom collects information about how the User navigates through the Platform and/or uses Alboom Services, potentially collecting information sent by the browser and/or device whenever the User accesses the Alboom Platform and/or uses Alboom Services. This may include information such as the IP address (indicating the access region), and the type of browser and/or device used. When visiting a website part of the Alboom Platform, or a site hosted on the Alboom Platform, or a partner site, the browser may also provide information about the referring page to Alboom’s site, search terms entered into a search engine, and general navigation information such as clicks, favorites, views, shares, screenshots, etc. Alboom may collect information about how the User uses its sites and applications using cookies (like most websites, Alboom uses cookies and similar technologies to understand Users and their likely interests).
Emails Sent by Alboom.
Alboom collects information about the receipt and/or opening of emails, clicks on links, etc., sent to the User. If the User does not want such information collected from emails sent by Alboom, they can opt out of receiving such emails.
Alboom’s Online Advertising.
Alboom collects information regarding, for example, display, location of display, and clicks on various types of online ads Alboom may run, including ad displays on websites and apps of other companies.
Use of Collected Information.
Alboom uses the collected information in several ways, including, but not limited to, (i) providing Alboom Services and/or Software, including the Alboom Platform, as well as all requested support services or information; (ii) understanding how the Services are used so that Alboom can improve them, engaging and retaining Users; (iii) using automated content analysis systems, such as machine learning techniques, to enhance services as content is sent, received, or stored on the Alboom Platform; (iv) diagnosing issues with Alboom Services and/or Software; (v) tailoring the Alboom Platform to the likely interests of the User; (vi) sending commercial messages, such as payment-related messages or plan expirations; (vii) sending information about Alboom, new releases, special offers, and similar information; (viii) conducting market research on potential customers, Users, their interests, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; (ix) reducing fraud, misuse, and software piracy to protect the User and Alboom.
Sharing of Collected Information.
Alboom works with various companies that help manage its business activities and assist in composing the range of offers and services available on the Alboom Platform. These companies provide services such as customer support, card payment processing, email delivery, advertising, and related, complementary, or supplementary services. Alboom shares information with these companies, which are authorized to use the collected information only on behalf of Alboom and are prohibited from using this information for other purposes. Alboom may also share collected information (i) when the User agrees to the sharing; (ii) with business partners; (iii) when required by subpoena, court order, or other legal processes; (iv) when it believes, in good faith, that disclosure is necessary to prevent or respond to cases of fraud, defend the Alboom Platform, its Services and/or Software against attacks, or protect Alboom’s property and the safety of its customers; (v) in the case of a merger or acquisition of Alboom by another company (in such cases, the collected information is likely to be part of the transferred assets).
Display of Collected Information.
Some Alboom Platform features allow the User to post comments, send images or videos, or share content for others to see. Depending on the available features, the User may limit who can view the shared content, but there are areas where the content may be viewed by the general public or other Alboom users or partners. Users should be cautious when sharing personal information or third-party information, taking responsibility for doing so under the law and the General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Alboom Platform. Users should be aware that when posting in certain user forums, their email address and/or name may be included and displayed in their message.
Security of Collected Information.
Alboom understands that personal information security is essential and provides reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security controls to protect it. However, despite these efforts, no security control is 100% effective, and Alboom cannot ensure or guarantee the security of your personal information.
Storage of Collected Information.
Alboom may store this information on its own servers and/or on servers of contracted companies. The information may be transferred between countries where Alboom has servers and countries where contracted companies assisting in Alboom’s business administration are located, in compliance with applicable laws.
Review and/or Update of Collected Information.
The User may, as required by law, access the information Alboom stores about them, correct errors in this information, and delete personal information no longer needed for business purposes. In general, Alboom Services allow Users to edit their personal information by accessing “My Account,” “My Profile,” or similar features. Similarly, the User can delete content using available removal features. To remove an email address from our marketing database, simply use the opt-out feature in received emails. Alboom may retain certain information about the User for legal and internal business purposes, such as fraud prevention.
Changes to this Policy.
Alboom may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to allow for the use or sharing of personal information in different ways. In such cases, Alboom will make reasonable efforts to inform Users of the changes.
